Transformers Decepticon Specialists Three Pack Galvatron, Octane, Astrotrain
Includes three robots that transform into tank, plane, train and truck modes.
Galvatron: Henkei Classic Galvatron converts from a tank to a robot mode which is reminiscent of his cartoon counterpart. A manifestation of Unicron’s dark power, Galvatron is salvaged from the space-borne wreck of Megatron’s battered frame. Armed with heightened firepower and personal minions Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps, Galvatron immediately travels to Cybertron where he annihilates Starscream at the crescendo of the latter’s clownish coronation and establishes himself as the new leader of the Decepticons. Quickly winning the fickle loyalties of the assembled Decepticon warriors, Galvatron spearheads a destructive mission to hunt down Ultra Magnus and destroy the Matrix of Leadership.
Octane: Converting into both a fuel truck and a cargo plane, Octane is equipped with twin guns and a gigantic saw-toothed claw accessory. Spurred by greed, Octane is characterized as an opportunistic bully who derives perverse enjoyment from the pains of fuel-deprived Decepticon cohorts. In the episode “Thief in the Night”, Octane discovers Trypticon, subsequent to the latter’s defeat at the hands of Metroplex, damaged but intact in the ocean. Seizing a unique opportunity, Octane gradually restores Trypticon’s immense power by converting the oil holdings of Carbombya into energon. He attempts to establish Carbombya as a secret staging ground, in the hopes of utilizing Trypticon to usurp Galvatron.
Astrotrain: In contrast to his comparatively bucolic role as a military transport, Astrotrain is a manifestation of chaos and destruction, deriving his sole enjoyment from the annihilation of his opponents. His Triple Changer construction, enabling him to shift from space shuttle to train, provides him with heightened strength and durability. In shuttle mode he travels at a maximum speed of 20,000 mph in orbit, and 50,000 mph out of orbit. The process of carrying cargo and/or passengers affords him the opportunity to gun down enemy satellites. In train mode, he reaches a maximum speed of 400 mph, with a range of 1700 miles. His powerful ionic displacer rifle can be used to scramble Autobot sensors.
