Snap Circuits lets youngsters learn the basics of electronics with snap-together circuits while they build 300 cool electronic projects. Circuits snap together - no tools or soldering required. The actual designs on the snap-together parts are like those you'll see in a real circuit diagram, so your kids will get familiar with real electrical layouts. The two full-color booklets that accompany this kit are superbly designed for eyes both young and old. The color-coded modular parts snap together to make exciting things like AM and FM radios, a digital voice recorder, burglar alarms, motion detectors, a dog whistle, darkness announcer, doorbells, and much more!

This kit includes special software that allows you to connect the Snap Circuits board to a computer to "see" the electrical signals in the circuits, just like electronic engineers do using oscilloscopes. This computer interface can be used with several dozen of the projects (requires PC running Windows 95 or later).
